What are your goals for July? And how are you making sure you will reach your goals? Comment below ⬇️ Here are my tips on how to reach your goals:⁣ ⁣ 1. Set SMART goals— specific, measureable, attainable, relevant and time-bound. My goal for the next 6 weeks is to back squat 125lbs for 5 reps (I want to be able to squat more than my body weight 117lbs). ??‍♀️ I haven’t done back squats for months and my all time 2-rep max is 125lbs. I started the program this week with 5 x 5 @ 75lbs. ⁣ ⁣ 2. Break down your goal into smaller goals. ⁣ For me it’s to do 3 squat workouts per week. Every time I workout I know I’m working towards my weekly goal. This keeps me motivated every day. Reaching those smaller goals on the way makes it more manageable and I know I’m taking steps towards my bigger goal. Don’t forget to celebrate those small victories on the way! ⁣ ⁣ Also a good tip is to tell your goal to someone. ? Summer is officially here! What are your plans? Here are a few quick reminders on how to take care of your health and stay fit in the summer:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Get into a routine. ⁣⁣ Schedule your workouts and get into a new healthy habit. Personally I like to work out in the morning. Love getting those endorphins flowing and setting a tone for the awesome day ahead!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Work out outdoors. ⁣⁣ You can work out at the beach, park or in your backyard.. anywhere! It’s fun to get creative, work out somewhere new and try new workouts! I’m looking forward to going paddle boarding and playing volleyball with friends (even though I’m terrible at it ?)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Remember to drink water. ⁣⁣ I like to make flavored waters during summer to give them some extra kick: put a few slices of cucumber, mint, strawberry… anything you like into your water bottle. ????⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Walk to places whenever you can. ⁣⁣ It’s not only good for you but it’s also good for the environment. I love going for long sunset walks or walks in the forest— it always calms my mind. Remember your mental health is important too!☺️??⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Go swimming. ⁣⁣ It feels so good on a hot summer day but also a useful skill to have.??‍♀️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️Cook with the produce that’s in season. ⁣⁣ I order all my fresh fruits and veggies from local farms. It’s the environmentally friendliest option, you support local businesses and you get the freshest fruits and veggies possible. I use @grubmarket – google “fresh farm delivery” for companies that service your area. ???⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ☀️ Go camping and hiking. ⁣⁣ Can’t wait to set up a tent and wake up in the middle of a forest to the birds singing and then spending the day hiking ? ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Do you have any other tips?
