Lola ja missikollega ryhtyivät pyörittämään missisivustoa

Lola Odusoga kertoo pyörittäneensä kaikessa hiljaisuudessa vuoden verran missisivustoa toisen missikollegansa kanssa. Sivusto voi toki olla alaa seuraaville tuttu, mutta suurelle yleisölle ei niinkään.

-Päätettiin vuosi sitten lyödä Adriana Gerxhalijan kanssa meidän missimaailmaan kohdistuva tietotaito, kokemus ja intohimo yhteen laariin ja laitettiin pystyyn missikisoihin keskittyvä sivusto All Things Pageant, Lola kertoo.

Kaksikko kertoo tykkäävänsä seurata kisoja pitkin maailmaa, ja he jakavat siitä osia muille uteliaille.

-Kisojen seuraaminen kuuluu myös tiiviisti mun yhteen työhön malliksi tai missiksi valmentaessani, Lola toteaa.

Hänen mielestään missimaailmassa on pelissä paljon tunteita, kuten urheilumaailmassakin, ja välillä meno onkin sen mukaista.

Before Miss Finland i worked as a model and a hostess in order to experience the industry a little bit and gain some more knowledge about stage presence and about things to prepare me for what was going to happen. I have always been passionate about pageant and now having experienced the pageant world, I see potential in the true beauty queens. About my backround, I was borned and raised in Finland, been living here my whole life but my parents are from Kosovo, so that makes me a Kosovo Albanian originally.” Lola: ”I’ve been following pageants from the 80’s, and first competed in the age of 12 in 1989. I’ve won several national pageants, from Teen Model 1989 to Miss Finland 1996 and was a runner up in few. Represented my country 3 times in international pageants, American Dream Calendar Girl Model Challenge, Miss Scandinavia 1997 and Miss Universe 1996. All of those brought me a placement in the top, and Miss Scandinavia title was mine to keep, like was the 2. runner up title in Miss Universe 1996 as Alicia Machado took the crown. I’ve shared some of my knowlidge to the younger people, coaching models and girls in pageants after my own pageant years. Nowdays I coach some girls, work with different pageant organisations and model agencys, but mostly I work in entertainment, tv , beauty & fashion industry. ” .
